St. Pat's in Five Points
YLS members helped Five Points kick off their annual St. Pat's Festival on March 13th, 2010 by volunteering at their "Get to the Green" 5k and 1 mile walk.
30 YLS members arrived at 6a.m. for an early start to this fun-filled day. Volunteers helped register racers for the Midland's largest road race and directed them through the streets of Shandon. The course led runners and YLS volunteers alike to the pot of gold at the finish line, the St. Pat's Festival in Five Points. All volunteers received free entrance into the festival following the race which exhibited live music, a parade, a children's carnival, food and more!
